FROM THE DESK OF JOHN VANCE – To Our Vance Wealth Friends and Family

So far, this year has been full of meaningful moments — and I’m feeling especially grateful for the balance of family time, professional growth, and the community that ties it all together.

In late March, Carmen and I set off on a special trip overseas. We spent a few days in London, enjoying theater performances and exploring the city on foot — one of our favorite ways to travel. From there, we visited Kate in Rome, where she’s wrapping up her sophomore year abroad. We cooked together, wandered through historic streets, and made the kind of memories that remind you what life is really about. We closed out the trip in Malta, exploring ancient architecture and soaking up every moment together. Travel always inspires me — and this trip was no exception.

Back home, Evan has been hard at work on his latest venture: a knife-sharpening business he launched earlier this year. Watching his entrepreneurial spirit take shape has been one of the most rewarding parts of 2025 so far. We’ve spent time talking strategy, problem-solving, and celebrating early wins — and I couldn’t be prouder.

Just days after returning, we hosted our Spring Reception — a beautiful night filled with music, great food, and the people who make this work so meaningful. These moments of connection continue to fuel our purpose and reflect the values we strive to live by every day.

On the business front, I’m thrilled to share that we’re currently in escrow on a new office building in Costa Mesa. As part of our long-term growth strategy, this location will help us better serve clients in the Newport area and beyond. Tyler will lead this expansion effort, focusing on building a talented team that reflects our culture, values, and commitment to delivering a world-class client experience. We’ll be blending local talent with existing team members who are eager to grow with us in this exciting market.

Looking ahead to summer, I’m energized by what’s next — more family milestones, continued progress on our goals, and more opportunities to connect with each of you.

Warmly,
John Vance, CFP® President & Founder
