Part of our vision for Vance Wealth includes positively impacting the community we serve, and with your help, we did just that last quarter. Over the holiday season, our team participated in the Single Mothers Outreach (SMO) Adopt-a-Family program, which helps provide hard-working single parents a way to make a warm and wonderful holiday memory with their children. To support this incredible program, our team volunteered to shop and wrap the Christmas gifts, matching up to $1,000, and with your donations, we were able to meet our goal and make the holidays a little more special for our local families.

“This program is a great opportunity to help celebrate these families around the holidays, as well as throughout the year,” shared John Vance, who has served on the SMO Board of Directors for over 7 years. “We’re extremely grateful that our Vance Wealth friends and clients have continued to support this important SCV nonprofit with us, and this past holiday season, your participation helped make a significant impact on the lives of local families.”

The Vance Wealth team is looking forward to another way to support Single Mothers Outreach this quarter at the Empowering HeArts Annual Gala, hosted at the Sand Canyon Country Club on Feb. 10. This year, the nonprofit will be honoring the efforts of single mothers who are courageously building hope for their children.

“We love supporting this event because it celebrates moms and artists in the community, and this year’s event takes it a step further by spotlighting the entire family,” John Vance shared. “So much of what Single Mothers Outreach does is for the kids, as well as for the parents, and we want to celebrate that a little more.”
