At Vance Wealth, we get to spend our days making a difference in someone else’s life. That’s what drives us. And it also drives our support of an incredible local non-profit.

Single Mothers Outreach of Santa Clarita serves our community by helping single parents in crisis find the support they need to stabilize and thrive. “Everyone who receives services lives or works in the Santa Clarita Valley, so we know who we’re supporting – our neighbors,” said John Vance, who’s currently President of the Board of Directors. “They receive assistance improving job skills, continuing their education, managing finances, and stabilizing the family’s mental health. It’s a direct and immediate impact when resources are hard to come by.”

But they can’t do it alone. Empowering HeArts is an annual event – which will be virtual this year – that helps raise funds for these vital programs. Through public nomination, the community honors six local women who represent an aspect of empowerment. Honorees then share their inspiring stories through a portrait from a local artist and a tribute article from a local writer – all of which is presented at the annual gala.
