Selena Garcia, Client Service Associate

With a strong work ethic and an administrative background, Client Service Associate Selena Garcia assists clients and advisors alike to ensure a smooth, consistent, and positive experience for everyone at Vance Wealth.

Selena has called the Santa Clarita Valley home for over ten years. She graduated from Bishop Alemany High School before enrolling in a culinary arts program. Once she started a family, however, she decided she was ready for the workforce. Selena started in administration at a prominent car dealership, where she began developing her expertise in customer service. Looking for more responsibility, Selena later took a position as Logistics Coordinator for a flooring distributor, where she enhanced operational efficiency, ensured a seamless experience for C-Suite executives, and fostered office cohesion. During this time, Selena successfully orchestrated complex port shipping schedules, resulting in a remarkable 66% reduction in fees, and addressed historical turnover challenges.

“Whether assisting executives with special projects or managing client interactions, I approach each task with enthusiasm,” Selena shared. “Wearing multiple hats is not just a necessity but a source of genuine enjoyment for me.”

When Selena found the opportunity to work closer to home as Vance Wealth’s Client Service Associate, she jumped at the chance. Her current responsibilities include assisting clients with financial transactions, helping advisors with scheduling and confirming client meetings, and preparing paperwork for client onboarding. Additionally, she’s involved in the administrative processes for Advanced 401k Solutions.

Most importantly, Selena shares the firm’s commitment to inspiring balance in life and business.

“I was raised with a work-comes-first mentality, but I now recognize the importance of having a life outside the office,” Selena said. “It’s refreshing to be part of a company that values a healthy work-life balance.”

Outside the office, Selena enjoys spending time with her extensive family and two dogs. When she’s not with her loved ones, she can be found reading, cooking, listening to true crime podcasts, or rewatching her favorite TV shows.
