To Our Vance Wealth Friends and Family,

The Spring quarter brought us much to celebrate at Vance Wealth, as well as at home.

Since our last trip to Steamboat, Colorado, a couple of the kids were asking for another chance to hit the slopes, so for the kids’ spring break, Lauren, Kate and I took a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah and stayed near Solitude Mountain Resort for a few days. The views were spectacular and the weather ideal. Both girls snowboarded, and Kate even braved many Black Diamond ski runs like a pro. We also visited the Olympic Park, where the 2002 Winter Olympic Games were hosted, and topped off the evening with a round of Topgolf and a lot of laughs. With the Rockies as our backdrop, it was an amazing setting for our spring break, and we took in our last bit of snow before returning, just in time, for some Santa Clarita sun.

Then Carmen and I wasted no time heading up to the Northern California Coast, where Jerrod’s parents, Jim and Jody Ferguson, hosted us at their home in Carmel, along with Jerrod and his wife, Julie. It was Carmen’s first time in the area, so we did a lot of sightseeing, some wine tasting and regular morning walks on the beach. Of course, we didn’t miss the chance to walk along the greens at Pebble Beach Golf Links and have some lunch down by the water. The course looked spectacular, and definitely put me in the spirit for a busy season of golf ahead. The City of Carmel, in fact, was even preparing to host the U.S. Open, which was interesting to watch. We really couldn’t have asked for a better way, or better company, to culminate a wonderful spring break.

Later in the quarter, we enjoyed some time with Shanele, Lisa and Jerrod during the Raymond James National Conference, hosted in Las Vegas this year. During the day, we were excited to support Lisa as she presented amongst peers about our contact management system. In the evening, we had dinner as a group and even fit in a round of Topgolf, my second for the season.

Rounding out the quarter, Lauren enjoyed a couple pretty big milestones, as we celebrated her 16th birthday and watched her hit the road for her first time as a driver. Of course, it was a little scary, but it was also nice to see her with that newfound freedom and independence, as she gets a little closer to growing up into a beautiful adult.

With all the travel and time spent with friends and family, this quarter was a special one that reminded me to take in those celebratory moments when you can. It’s not often we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor, so when we earn the opportunity, it’s incredibly special to live the life you once imagined for yourself. During this and coming quarters, we hope to serve and inspire you as your trusted partners and friends, so you may live more in the moments of celebration.
